Application Engineer - Architecture for a Multinational Software Company - PARIS

Our client is a leading AEC software company owning a portfolio of products for the full lifecycle of the world’s infrastructure.

Architects, engineers, builders and owner/operators have relied on their focused industry solutions to help them effectively create, manage and publish engineering content critical to the profitable construction and management of complex assets.

 

Due to rapid expansion of their product portfolio and services, the company is currently embarking upon an exciting phase of growth and development.

We are now recruiting a professional and enthusiastic Application Engineer (Building), to be based in Haut de Seine (92), reporting to the Industry Sales Director.

 

Specific responsibilities will include:

• Presenting, as part of a sales team, demonstrations that promote the company’s software applications.

• Developing and preparing for presale product demonstrations to sales prospects. May assist in closing the sales opportunity.

• Working with other sales team members in benchmarking, i.e. applying a customers designs and technical requirements to demonstrate a good fit and improved time/performance with the software.

• Performing software product training activities for VARs (Value Added Resellers).

• Responsible for the reseller technical development in France, presenting workshops and or seminars as required.

• Preparing timely responses to prospects.

• Working with product development groups to refine product development plans based on user input.

• Performing other related duties as assigned.

 

Your profile:

 

• BS/BA Architectural or Engineering related degree or equivalent experience is required.

• 2-3 year's experience in the field is required.

• An understanding of the building and construction markets is required.

• Excellent written and oral communication as well as strong presentation skills.

• PC literacy with the appropriate MS Office software applications.

• Ability to learn and demonstrate the company’s suite of software product line.

• Mother language is French and fluency in English is essential.
